Dunvegan

Fifteen minutes southwest of Fairview, the Peace River intersects rather spectacularly with Highway 2 at the gorgeous Dunvegan crossing. Take a tour of the buildings at Historic Dunvegan and learn about the history of the Beaver (Dunne-Za) people. Spend the day at the Maples Day Use Area or camp overnight at Dunvegan Provincial Park. Relax on the riverside beach, hike the valley hills, or launch your boat for a day on the river. Visit the Dunvegan Market Gardens for U-pick produce, local bison, ice cream, mini golf, and gift shop souvenirs of a trip you’ll remember forever.
