Chris Laue was born raised in Edmonton. After High School he completed his Automotive Mechanic Apprenticeship and returned to the U of A earning a BEd in vocational education. He first taught at Leduc Composite High School and in 1987 relocated to Fairview and began instructing at Fairview College. In 2020 Chris retired from the College after serving in numerous instructional and administrative roles throughout his career with the College.
Involvement with numerous local organizations provides Chris the opportunity understands the needs of the community and believes Fairview is an excellent community to raise a family.
Chris looks forward to serving as councillor by developing and supporting opportunities for businesses and residents in building a vibrant community.
